What
This event is financed from the earnings received from Mondrian earning 2nd prize at ESUG 2006 Innovation Awards.
The event is supposed to be a hands-on hacking day with Mondrian. The idea is simple: you bring your data, and we play with it. As Mondrian is a politically correct engine, it does not discriminate between different types of objects. Hence you can bring any object as long as it is in VisualWorks :-).
How
We propose several exercises:
- Visualizations of proposed data
- Interactive prototypes for browsing the proposed data
- New layouts implementation
- New shapes implementation
- New convenience methods for specifying the views
- New convenience methods for specifying the interaction
